It's coming up on that special time of year; a special time where you get gift from friends (and you sometimes freak out because you forgot to get them something). But, in a time of gift cards and closet fodder, there a few presents that stick out above the bunch. Sometimes they're things you didn't even think you needed before you got it. Other times, it could be something you wanted for the longest time but never thought you'd have the chance to have. Either way, these gifts made lasting memories throughout our lives. And especially at a time like this, it's good to hold on to the things we're grateful for in life. Whether it be from a holiday, birthday, or random occasion, the things we get from those we care about can turn a day around for the better.
