This week's Pokémon is Zacian!

Warrior Pokémon

Known as a legendary hero, this Pokémon absorbs metal particles, transforming them into a weapon it uses to battle.

Crowned Sword: Now armed with a weapon it used in ancient times, this Pokémon needs only a single strike to fell even Gigantamax Pokémon.

Introduction:

Welcome back to Rebuild Tuesday, where the decent only gets better. But this week, the best of the best are going to get… worse?

That's right, this week is a special edition of Rebuild Tuesday. Instead of normal programming, where we buff a Pokémon so that it is viable for OU, we will instead debuff a Pokémon to make it not a curbstomp in OU. And today , we start with the biggest challenge of all, Zacian!

Zacian is one of the only Pokemon to have ever been banned from Ubers, similar to Mega Rayquaza in gens 6 and 7. Whether you are using Choice Scarf for more speed in its base form, or using Swords Dance in its Crowned form to set up even more attack (as well as secondary Steel-typing), Zacian is one of the most overpowered Pokemon to grace the franchise. With its incredible speed and attack (the latter of which is boosted by its ability Intrepid Sword whenever it's sent out), its amazing defensive typing and respectable bulk, its good movepool coverage, and its dangerous versatility, it is almost impossible to counter this Pokemon. What makes Zacian so good in particular is its ability to adapt to most team formats. Under any circumstances where Zacian is allowed, there is almost no reason to not have one on your team if your goal is to win. It doesn't matter who else is on your team, since Zacian can handle most Pokemon in the meta.

How viable do you trainers think Zacian is? What changes need to be made in order to allow Zacian to even fit into the OU scene without overpowering the competition?
