I figured out why Z-moves, D-maxes and G-maxes are so unsatisfying. Posted: 13 Sep 2020 03:21 AM PDT Ever since Generations VII and VIII came out, I've had a somewhat disdainful attitude towards their special functions, Z-moves and Max forms. The problem was, I wasn't really able to vent because I didn't understand why I didn't like them - I just felt unsatisfied with them. Just now, though, I was thinking about it, and I realized why I don't like them: they impersonalize pokemon. Now, bear with me as I try to explain. Ever since pokemon became a thing, every aspect of the games was about training with your pokemon, building your bonds, really making a team. The reason this was possible was because of the designs of the pokemon themselves. You look at pokemon like pikachu, swampert, chansey - they're cute, awesome and friendly respectively. The thing is, they aren't over the top. They're realistic (as much as you can be with magical animals), and, more importantly, they're relatable. There's the classic images of Ash with Pikachu on his shoulder, Brendan standing coolly next to his Swampert, and Nurse Joy introducing the injured pokemon to her Chansey. There's a certain feeling that goes along with it. Even with Mega evolution, it was kept within what felt like a reasonable atmosphere. For example, Mega Khangaskan. I have never wanted more to give a pokemon a hug. That baby is adorable and fun. Mega Sceptile is cool and calculating. Mega Altaria is fluffy and soft. They're all relatable. I just don't have a better word to describe it. Then you consider Z-moves. Take, for example, Pulverizing Pancake. Snorlax, this tubby, huggable, gentle giant, suddenly jumps up, sprints a hundred yards, jumps way up into the air, and lands on the opponent, in an impact that, according to the animation, has the force of a stinking atom bomb! It takes a relatable, lovable pokemon and turns it into this bizarre show of random power. Even worse than Z-moves, though, are these new Max forms. One of the main attractions of pokemon, as I've said, is their relatability. For example, toxtricity. I saw this pokemon, and I immediately thought, "That's a pokemon I would love to use." He's the kind of guy that you can high five after he knocks out your opponent, winning the battle. He's the kind of guy that you can take a stupid picture with, back to back with your arms folded. Then you G-max him. He grows into an wonky, alien behemoth, turning from a cool team member into a freaky, mountain sized beast. You try to high five him now, and you end up as a trainer version of flat Stanley. You try to do a back to back photo and don't even reach his ankle. All of the relatability is gone, replaced by a huge monstrosity that doesn't even have pupils. And the same is true for every G-max form. Instead of having your pokemon fighting by your side, you become a supervillain commanding the artificial monstrosity at his back. And D-maxes aren't that much better. Sure, they may not look creepy, but you aren't about to have your D-max Togedemaru sitting on your shoulder, and you definitely aren't going to give your D-max Chansey a hug. If every pokemon has giga-sized destructive power, not only does it alienate them, it also takes all the specialty out of the power itself. If I can have a hundred foot Blastoise spewing apocalyptic Hydro Cannons whenever I want, why should I be scared when some big dinosaur guy threatens me with a world-ending drought? It turns every pokemon into a legendary. One of the special parts of having legendaries was that they were different from the other pokemon - they didn't have the personality, the connection, the relationship that you had with your other pokemon, because they sacrificed that for their awesome power. That was the point, and that's ruined by the Max forms. Okay, so those are my thoughts. I've never been super good at articulating, so I'm more than interested in your thoughts, be they agreeing or disagreeing. If there's a better way to say it, please tell me. Also, remember that, however strong your opinion, it will always be taken better if it is voiced in a non-emotionally charged way. Thanks! Also, I have a real problem with Zarude. I don't care if it doesn't make sense, it should get sandstorm, just so I can call it Darude. [link] [comments] |
I would love for Pokémon “Mario Maker” Posted: 12 Sep 2020 02:36 PM PDT I feel this would be a perfect addition to other spin offs we have. One of the things the spinoffs have been missing are co-op features and a game based on interaction with others would be a nice change of pace. Think about it, one of the main gripes with most Pokémon games is that their to easy. So what not the fanbase show their expertise? It could be like Pokémon stadium + secret bases. You make your own gym with accessories and certain trainers. Giving your gym your own theme along with your own rules like "each player cannot switch" or "you can only use a certain type of Pokémon". You can also choose to use rental Pokémon from the game or transfer your own. The main campaign would be just like the gym leader castle from the stadium series. A gauntlet of battling special trainers till the end and gain some special stuff for your gyms to update them or even special Pokémon. Using a code system, people can visit other gyms and battle them and the more you battle the more points you get.And there can be various ranks. I think there is a lot more with this Idea people could come up with I wanna know your guy's thoughts? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Sep 2020 03:09 AM PDT Pokémon Void and Pokémon Mist ———————————————— Region is based on Canada ( Holos ) —————————————————— Box Legendaries are a Wendigo (a tall menacing creature) for Void and a Hapyxelor (a vicious lake monster) for Mist. The Wendigo is called "Darukuo" and the Hapyxelor is called "Kumovo". They are like brother-pokemon. Darakuo is for the land and Kumovo is for the sea. Darakuo is very hard to capture because it lives in this "void dimension". It only goes to the real world to protect Holos from any danger, It is a Dark / Ghost type. Kumovo is very vicious toward most Pokémon. It's always lurking in lakes of the Holos region. How it gets from one lake to another is a mystery. But some believe it creates this mist portal that allows it to get to any other body of water, It is a Water / Ghost type. Many people believe that Darakuo and Kumovo are servants of Arceus. Evochaos forms for the Legendaries are distorted in a way because of how divine they are, Evochaos (which I'll explain later) distorts their appearance immensely. Darakuo becomes Dark / Ghost / Electric. It's distortion causes it to become extremely agile. Kumovo becomes Water / Ghost / Flying. It gets these distorted wings that allow it to use its "mist power" to teleport through the skies". (P.S Hapyxelors are said to have three eyes but this Pokémon doesn't) Arceus has "soul pieces" scattered around the region kind of like the zygarde cells. There are 17 soul pieces for every type except normal. These souls are like horcruxes from Harry Potter and Blight-Ganons from BOTW combined. You will have to fight mini Arceus souls that look different for every type (kind of like eeveelutions). After you've battled all the types you will be able to encounter Arceus in its Distortion form. It changes types every two moves. —————————————————— Regional Prof. - Professor Ignatius Maple - A gifted professor who has lived in Holos his whole life studying certain Pokémon's behaviors and their wild habitats and looks out for the less fortunate people of Holos and he loves helping endangered Pokémon, he also has a brother named Satias Maple, who is the leader of Team Plague. ——————————————————— Starter Pokémon - Flarcalf -> Stoblaze -> Oxpyre An Ox Pokemon that is known to be fearless in its battles. It is said that it's eyes burst in flames due to its anger toward Pokémon that oppose it. It's legs are very strong and are almost as if they are made from rocks. The fire energy inside of it and its fearlessness is what makes its one of the feared Pokémon in the Holos Region. Evochaos Oxpyre gains the type Psychic, making it Fire / Rock / Psychic. Because of some Oxpyres immense hate towards other creatures or enemies , their hatred gets so strong that they can almost control their enemies' minds. Fire to Fire to Fire / Rock - Fire / Rock / Psychic Tearub -> Aqpace -> Dringar A Cougar Pokémon that lives near or in lakes and rivers and is known to be a very fast swimmer. It has adapted to being constantly in the water. It has grown gils and it's feet have become webbed. It's claws are sharp enough to cut through titanium , it's speed and claws are what make it one of the most unique Pokémon in the Holos Region. Evochaos Dringar gains the type Poison, making it Water / Dark / Poison. Some lakes and rivers in Holos have been contaminated with poison from the very "few" failed experiments from the R.E.S.T.O.R.E foundation. Because of this , some Dringars get infected with poison making them even stronger. Water to Water to Water / Dark - Water / Dark / Poison Gredoe -> Lushoat -> Vinhorn A Pronghorn Pokémon that lives in the mountainous areas of Holos. It is a very beautiful Pokémon. It can stun predators with its ability giving it enough time to escape the danger. It is one of the smartest Pokémon in the Holos Region. Evochaos Vinhorn gains the type Ghost, making it Grass / Fairy / Ghost. Because of the immense number of hunters that hunt this Pokémon , Some Vinhorns learn to camouflage and blend in better with the environment to avoid hunters. Grass to Grass to Grass / Fairy - Grass / Fairy / Ghost ——————————————————— Rival and Important Characters: Your Rival is Aiden , He comes from a very wealthy family from Johto but he doesn't show his wealth off on people. He always tries to do the right thing and he has a big heart. He gets picked on by his older sister Beatrice (your other rival), who thinks he's an outcast from his other family members. You and Aiden become almost like siblings during your journey. Unlike other rivals , Aiden does not start with Holosian Starter Pokémon. He starts with either Cyndaquil , Totodile or Chikorita depending on which starter you choose. He chooses the type that is stronger than yours. Evochaos Typhlosion gains the type Ground, making it Fire / Ground. It becomes a bit more bulkier but not too much and the fire around its neck becomes fire "dust". Evochaos Feraligatr gains the type Steel, making it Water / Steel. It's sharp claws become steel and it's jaw becomes similar to Drednaw's jaw. It's fins become almost like rusted metal but not exactly. Evochaos Meganium gains the type Ice, making it Grass / Ice. It's "antennas" become ice shards and it's flower collar becomes ice but in a shape of a rose around its neck. It's skin turns bluish green too. Champion : Owen, son of Cresalius Merovin who is the senator of Holos. Owen isn't a very popular champion like Leon. He is quite an introvert but people still respect him. He is a very talented and skilled Pokémon trainer. Clive and Marielle , are the assistants of Prof. Maple who will help you during your journey. Gym Leader Names : Rio, Water Type Gym Leader (Male) Calla, Grass Type Gym Leader who is also your cousin. (Female) Adara, Fire Type Gym Leader (Female) Torin, Steel Type Gym Leader (Male) Adonis, Poison Type Gym Leader (Male Chrysalis , Bug Type Gym Leader (Female) Zephyr , Flying Type Gym Leader who is also a big movie star (Male) Jaxon, is the right hand man of Satias and will stop at nothing to protect him. Gaig, is a very mysterious person. You will meet him many times during your journey, he is kind of like AZ but not immortal and weirder. He seems to always know what's gonna happen next. ——————————————————— Evil Team : Team Plague Team Plague are a group of thugs and scientists who want to capture all Pokémon in the Holos Region for themselves. They are led by Satias Maple ( Prof. Maple's brother ). The government of Holos fear this group might rebel against them so they keep the city in which their hideout is located very secure. Burnen is an administrator for this team. He is highly respected by the government who do not know what he is secretly helping Team Plague. He is also your other rival. ——————————————————— Holosian Forms Holosian Snorlax, Holosian Stantler, Holosian Tauros, Unova starters also get Holosian forms. ——————————————————— New Battle feature : Evochaos : the Pokémon can evolve into a legendary version of it self with outstandingly higher stats and the Pokémon receives another typing (ex. Water / Dark / Dragon , Fire / Fighting / Electric. However if a Pokémon's final form has one type it will gain another type. The Pokémon's third/second typing will determine how its appearance changes. The Pokémon will turn back into its original form after 4 turns. However if the Pokémon has a status condition when it has turned into its Evochaos form , it's stats will be effected badly. Only a handful of pokémon have Evochaos forms such as the Holosian starters. ——————————————————— Story : Ignatius and Satias Maple were close brothers who loved the same profession , helping endangered Pokémon. They both started the R.E.S.T.O.R.E Foundation , who aim to save endangered Pokémon from becoming extinct. Ignatius was promoted to the number one professor of the region. This did not sit well with Satias. He betrayed his brother to prove himself , he created Team Plague who want to capture all Pokémon in the Holos region and turn them against their trainers. Team Plague also want to release a very infectious disease that will surely make Holos meet its demise. There is a good , bad , normal and true ending. If you side with Team Plague , you will ultimately get the bad ending. If you side with the R.E.S.T.O.R.E foundation , you will get the good ending. If you help in each teams tasks (side quests) you will get the normal ending. To get the true ending , You will need to side with Aiden and both of you will need to use your Pokémon to defeat Team Plague. Post Game: The post game will be different depending on which ending you get but it will revolve around you helping the Looker solve his last mystery cases before he retires. In the good ending you will also assist the R.E.S.T.O.R.E foundation and the senator. If you got the normal ending , you will only assist the Looker. In the bad ending, you will try to ignore the Looker and help Satias Maple in some "things". If you got the true ending , you and Aiden will help the Looker but also help other Holosian folk. ——————————————————— Town and City Names : Starting Town : Greywood Town - It is known to be one of the oldest towns in Holos. It is also where the Pokémon Research Facility is (where Prof. Fireweed lives). Population - 24 Yearly Visitors - 94 Rock Gym Town - Egroff Town - The first gym in all of Holos was built in this town. Population - 35 Yearly Visitors - 112 Water Gym Town - Drinvern Town - Tearubs are said to have originated from near this town. Population - 39 Yearly Visitors - 123 Grass Gym Ranch - Lushgrove Ranch - Gredoes are said to have originated from this area. Population - 47 Yearly Vistors - 136 Fire Gym Village - Pyravo Village - This ancient village is where Flarcalves are said to have come from. In ancient times , they protected the village from "dark creatures". The gym is the only modern building in the whole village Population - 11 Yearly Vistors - 48 Steel Gym City - Herbode City - This city is the biggest city in Holos and it is often compared to Lumiose City. It's culture shines through it and it's people are very kind to others. The Steel Type is also found here. (this city is based on Montreal) Population - 506 Yearly Visitors - 1277 Poison Gym City - Vengrin City - This city was once a big , bustling city full of people and Pokémon, but due to the very "few" failed R.E.S.T.O.R.E foundation experments it is the location of the Team Plague Hideout and it is filled to the brim with thugs. The gym used to be a Psychic Gym but the foundation made a deal with Senator Cresalius to change it to a Poison Gym to cover up the fact that they poisoned the entire city. (this city is based on Vancouver) Population - 258 Yearly Vistors - 497 Bug Gym Temple - Stindra Temple - This ancient Temple is found in the middle of one of the many forests in the Holos Region. Population - 6 Yearly Visitors - 53 Flying Gym Museum - Azcar Mountain Museum - This museum is found on the top of Mount Azcar , one of the highest peaks in the Holos Region. It is also a flying Type Gym Population - 17 Yearly Visitors - 137 The unpopulated areas of the Holos region serve as the Wild Area of it except it's much much bigger and better. (there are 2 more towns and 1 more village , but they don't have gyms so I didn't state them here). Region Details : Holos is very mountainous and has many forests and unpopulated areas but that doesn't mean that it isn't a heavily populated region. ——————————————————— Timeline : Pokémon Void and Mist take place 15 years after the first Unova Games , Holos share an alliance with Unova ——————————————————— Extra Details : Story is based on perseverance. Music : Music of the Holos Region will be very sentimental but there will also be remixes of some older generation music. All in all , these games have a much darker tone. (I don't think GameFreak would ever think of doing this but it's what I want). There will be some voice acting like botw (as in grunts and reactions to certain things). There is no Elite Four , you must prove yourself by defeating the 4 mythical Pokémon of Holos. There are choices in these games. There are small choices (which gym you would like to battle first) making the games seem less linear. There are big choices (Siding with Team Plague or the R.E.S.T.O.R.E foundation) Routes will be designed differently , each route has multiple paths you could take. They could lead you to items or they could lead you to "enemies". Some gyms may be a little too strong for your current level so you need to challenge it later in your play through You will be able to freely move the camera. Main Character : Male Main Character will be called Trey for "Try" Female Character will be called Olivia for "Obliviate". Customization : You will be able to wear masks (new) and you will also be able to wear clothes of the main characters from other regions (ex. Galar Collection , Unova Collection ). You can now customize your Pokémon's appearance like that custom pikachu (you get in pokemon oras). Extra Story Details : you will be able to play as your mother/father , and find out what it was for them growing up in Holos , you will be see what the towns and cities were like before you were born. These are kind of like flashbacks, there will be about 8 of them in total. At some point in the story (early on), Aiden will give you the Johto starter that is stronger against his EDIT: Thank you so much for the awards! also sorry for the minor spelling mistakes. Reminder that Rotom has no Pokédex entry in the ROTOM dex. Posted: 13 Sep 2020 10:53 AM PDT Rotom, who is essentially one of the main characters of generation VII, does not get its own dex entry, and cannot be obtained without trading. These things are abundant enough for them to be given to some dipshit kid who just moved in 47 picoseconds ago, but it isn't available and doesn't know its own species. Ironic, a gift pokemon that isn't obtainable. Does rotom have some kind of dissassociative identity disorder? "Rotom, who are you?" Rotom: "??????????" Epic, just an epic play by rotom. Rotom Dex shown to be a pure Electric-type Pokémon Posted: 13 Sep 2020 04:46 AM PDT During today's episode of the Pokémon anime in Japan, there was a scene where Ash's Rotom Phone scanned Rotom Dex. With this, at the top like the Pokédex always does in Journeys, it shows the type. Here, it showed just a pure Electric-type. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EhyMmy5XsAUx-g9?format=jpg&name=large It also called it Rotom Pokédex Forme. Just an interesting note [link] [comments] |

Posted: 13 Sep 2020 09:34 AM PDT I'm not counting the box legendary trio (Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza for example) also gen 6, 7 and 8 won't represented as they don't really have a trio of legendaries (except the XYZ trio and the other box legendaries. But as I said I'm not counting them) also I'm not counting the swords of Justice as Keldeo is Included in them. So their will be 5 options [link] [comments] |
Pokedex Rotom's type has been confirmed as a Pure Electric type Posted: 13 Sep 2020 10:24 AM PDT So after all this time this form of Rotom has it's own typing now, confirmed by the Anime's Rotom Phone Pokedex, now I want to know what's the typing of Rotom Phone going to be? Who knows but this is interesting to note. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2020 08:39 PM PDT If the player character needs to be 10 to start their adventure, how come there are trainers younger than the player? Like, that makes no sense. Your character has to be 10, so why are there Youngsters allowed to adventure at under 10? Even if they're just messing around in the woods, still makes no sense that they caught a Pokemon and have actual battles. [link] [comments] |
Dynamax may not be a good mechanic but Galar's culture made it memorable. Posted: 13 Sep 2020 11:40 AM PDT Galar is inspired from Great Britain (Main Galar is England and a very small bit of Wales; CT is Scotland; IoA is Isle of Man, technically not Great Britain). And here, sports are one of our main sources of entertainment. Our stadiums are very wild and I love how that thing is implemented with Dynamax/Gigantamax. I personally love Gigantamax, even if I hate dynamax. Especially the music for gym battles is very hype. It is one of the best battle themes Gamefreak has ever made. It reflects our battle changes too. The music changes when you get an advantage (fainting pokemon, or dynamaxing. Or when you get a disadvantage (our pokemon fainting). And especially when the gym leader is on the last pokemon, the chanting and cheering is very similar to our stadiums. And since Galar gym leaders are also great, this made the gym format the best of all time. I just wish the game was difficult. And another thing I love is that Galar has a Champion cup instead of a traditional Elite 4. The Elite leader theme is amazing as well. TL;DR: Dynamax is controversial, but its implementation in games was great. [link] [comments] |
Sword and Shield are some of my favorite games Posted: 13 Sep 2020 07:01 AM PDT I have been with pokemon since gen 1. My all time favorite is emerald followed by heartgold and soulsilver. But what I love about sword and shield is how accessible competitive battling is. I used to keep up with competitive battling when I was young, but with a gameboy and not many people to trade with I never really had a chance to do what we can do on sword and shield. I am loving being able to create teams of pokemon and test them out online. I love the online play in general. I am dissapointed we have to wait for the DLCs, but I am justifying it as I would have bought a third game in the series if it came out anyways. [link] [comments] |
[OC] I made Alolan Dugtrio with wood scraps from the legs of an Ikea side table Posted: 13 Sep 2020 11:42 AM PDT Photos and process: https://imgur.com/gallery/GavWM8Y I made this very silly figurine of Dugtrio from wood scraps, paint, pantyhose, glue, polymer clay, and yarn. A few weeks ago, I had extra pieces of wood from an Ikea side table that had its legs sawed down. After about 5 hours of sanding the wood round (and asking, "why am I doing this?"), I painted the Dugtrio and then looked up videos on YouTube of "How to create miniature wigs". I fashioned wig caps out of old pantyhose that were hardened with glue, then I put the blonde yarn onto the caps. [link] [comments] |
Best 3rd/Enhanced version Legendary Pokemon Posted: 13 Sep 2020 05:30 AM PDT So I don't really know what to call these. But you know what I mean. Rayqauza / Giratina etc. I unfortunately can't include Eternatus because Reddit is a big stupid head and only allows 6 options (plus some people wouldn't put it in this group of Pokemon, but I wanted to put it in anyways.) So sorry Eternatus fans. Blame Reddit, not me. Anyway I'm just making this because I'm curious. And vote away [link] [comments] |
What Mega Evolved Pokémon do you wish existed? Posted: 13 Sep 2020 05:03 AM PDT I was hoping for more Mega Pokémon with the release of Sword and Shield, but instead they gave us G-Max (just as good!) Having a G-Max Pokémon holding a Mega Stone would be neat, but I see why it wouldn't work. No one wants to face off against seriously OP Pokémon. Tell me yr thoughts pls😜 [link] [comments] |
I caught a raikou without weakening it at pokemon gold with a simple pokeball Posted: 13 Sep 2020 06:44 AM PDT So um something weird is happening between me and the three legendary dogs of the johto region. Some days ago, after i did the burned tower event and went to the grass patches after i defeated the gym leader to catch some new pokemon raikou and entei appeared in a row. Seriously idk if this is rare enough, but i was shocked. My pokemon and the 2 times where out speeded so nothing happened(yes i didnt remember that they flee after one turn) Afterwards i got my last badge.Heading down to new bark town from balckthorn city i was really bored going to cherrygrove city which had the closest pokemon center to heal my pokemon. The only one damaged was my golbat. Luckily enough i had the move leech life still at the moveset,So i started one shoting lvl 2 and 3 spearows and geodudes. After fainting 4 of them i accidentally runned with my bicicle out of the grass patch. Then i got in again and oh my god a raikou appeared. As dumb as always i threw a normal pokeball at it for the lol.At the first shake it was like "what" at the second shake i was like "it gonna get out" at the third one i was like " no there is no way"and when it said raikou was caught i stayed like a statue for 5 minutes straight with my mouth open. Couldn't believe it. Thats the story folks, have a good day and always remember to smile! [link] [comments] |
Replaying Pokemon Platinum has reignited my love for the franchise. Posted: 13 Sep 2020 10:40 AM PDT After my frustrations with the previous 2 generations I decided to replay my favourite game of them all. Whilst starting a play though it normally takes me a couple of hours before I really get hooked, but that wasn't the case instantly upon hearing the music of Twinleaf town I was fully invested. I have always loved Sinnoh it is such a fun region to explore and some of the music is stunning especially the Eterna theme. The game was genuinely challenging in parts especially due to my team being all about weaker pokemon I like rather that the strongest team possible. Exploring the eerie Old Chateau and the magical Distoration world were highlights. The Elite 4 was a blast and Cynthia is by far my favourite champion. The post game is full of Poke Radar shiny hunting fun and of course 3 new areas and then the Battle Frontier. I have put in 30 hours so far on what is at least my 5th play through of Gen 4 and i'm enjoying it as much as the first. I don't want this to turn into a rant against the new games, but the complete lack of post game, the mind numbing handholding absolutely ruining the exploration element of the region and Galar's permantly on Exp Share are not present in Sinnoh. Rather then throwing my head back in frustration everytime an NPC bothers me (Hau\Hop) I was always interested in the story and the world around me the franchise has gone so far backwards in my eyes and I would encourage anyone who feels the same to pick up the ds again and have a crack Platinum. It reminded me of why I love Pokemon. [link] [comments] |
Who’s your Favorite Sinnoh Revamp Evolution Posted: 13 Sep 2020 10:44 AM PDT I think Diamond and Pearl did a great job breathing new life into some evolution lines. Many pokemon that I personally didnt care for were given cool new evolutions. Many of these pokemon would become my favorites and they are definitely help make Sinnoh one of my favorite regions What's your favorite? (Not enough voting options for all of them so comment which one you voted for) [link] [comments] |
Cubone sketch I did ( well, his skull at least ) Posted: 13 Sep 2020 11:35 AM PDT |
Posted: 13 Sep 2020 09:53 AM PDT Honestly I like the features introduced in gen 7 and gen 8. Granted. Z moves were a pretty lackluster animation in the games, but in the anime it's amazing seeing them use a moves because they find a creative way to tie it in with the Pokémon and also they use it as a finishing move. As for dynamaxing and gigantimax I love it! It is so satisfying when you see you and the gym leader dynamax at the same time. Then hearing the crowd sing while it's a final showdown. That's probably my favorite part of swsh, they made the gym battles feel like an event that comes down to your final Pokémon even if it doesn't. Anyways that's just my opinion. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Sep 2020 04:25 AM PDT I'm really keen to know which Pokemon region is the best to you guys... Personally I'd say Alola (its so immersive) but I've only played games based in Kanto, Hoenn, Kalos, Alola and Galar, so I'm not sure about the other regions. I base it on scenery, Pokemon variety, characters and storyline btw. [link] [comments] |
Which Regional Bug should get a Mega? Posted: 13 Sep 2020 08:10 AM PDT So, in my last post that asked you which regional bird you think should get a mega, someone suggested I should do a poll asking you: Which Regional Bug should get a Mega Evolution? There is still 1 day left to vote on that one so if you do so still want to vote check out my page. Reddit only allows six options for polls so the Pokemon I am cutting out is: Buterfree because it's pretty old and let's be honest who doesn't want to see that? It also already has a gmax as well so... ye I am also cutting out the Galar bug because it is really new and not many people have had a chance to properly play around with it. Voting will close in 3 days! 😀 Please vote and explain your reasoning! 😀 [link] [comments] |
