Hello everyone!

Welcome to this week's edition of Rebuild Tuesday, a weekly event we're doing along with our Discord!

Starting this week, we'll be looking at the newer Pokemon and how they are in the currently developing meta.

This week's Pokemon is Dragapult!

#887 Dragapult (Japanese ドラパルト Doraparuto)

Stealth Pokémon

When it isn't battling, it keeps Dreepy in the holes on its horns. Once a fight starts, it launches the Dreepy like supersonic missiles. Apparently the Dreepy inside Dragapult's horns eagerly look forward to being launched out at Mach speeds.

Dragapult's Base Stats:

HP: 88
Attack: 120
Defense: 75
Sp. Attack: 100
Sp. Defense: 75
Speed: 142

Introduction:

Dragapult is the new pseudo-legendary introduced to gen 8. It is Ghost/Dragon, and it has the abilities Clear Body, Infiltrator, and Cursed Body (Hidden Ability). Right off the bat, you will notice its ridiculously amazing base speed of 142, followed by a good base attack stat of 120 and a passable base special attack stat of 100. 88 HP and 75 defenses are not bad, but it probably won't survive a decently hard hit. A lot of people are testing out Choice sets, Choice Band and Choice Specs alike.

How viable do you trainers think Dragapult is? What do you think will be needed in order to be a good competitive Pokemon (e.g. new moves, stats, abilities or typings)? What is its most optimal set?
