[Rebuild Tuesday] SwSh Meta Predictions: Galarian Zapdos!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to this week's edition of Rebuild Tuesday, a weekly event we're doing along with our Discord!

This week we're trying something a bit different; instead of asking you to rebuild an existing Pokémon, we're asking you to speculate on what the movesets for an upcoming Pokémon might look like and where you think it'd end up in the meta if it does have those moves!

This week's Pokemon is Galarian Zapdos!

#145 Galarian Zapdos (Japanese サンダー Thunder)

Strong Legs Pokémon

Introduction:

Galarian Zapdos is Fighting/Flying, the second Pokemon to have that type combination after Hawlucha. Its ability is Defiant, which increases its attack by two stages if the opponent lowers one of its stats. It has a signature Fighting-type move called Thunderous Kick, which deals damage and lowers the target's defense by one stage. From the look of things, it seems Galarian Zapdos will become a physical-attacking variant of regular Zapdos. Its movepool may increase due to different attributes that Galarian Zapdos has to offer. Everything else is up for interpretation, but it seems to be one of the more promising Pokemon on its way.
