This week's Pokemon is Kingler!

#099 Kingler (Japanese キングラー Kingler)

Pincer Pokémon

Its large and hard pincer has 10,000-horsepower strength. However, being so big, it is unwieldy to move. Its oversized claw is very powerful, but when it's not in battle, the claw just gets in the way.

Kingler's Base Stats:

HP: 55
Attack: 130
Defense: 115
Sp. Attack: 50
Sp. Defense: 50
Speed: 75

Introduction:

Kingler has a cool beard when it Gigantamaxes. It's not allowed in OU, but it's something to think about every time you use it. Kingler's most notable attribute is its very high physical attack stat, making it prime for breaking walls. Access to Swords Dance and the Sheer Force + Life Orb combo makes it especially dangerous for most Pokemon. Access to Agility helps it gain needed momentum. However, it faces competition from other Water-type wallbreakers that can do the job better; Barraskewda has naturally fast speed and access to Flip Turn for momentum, Azumarill has access to Belly Drum and priority, Gyarados has access to Moxie and Dragon Dance, and the list goes on. Kingler needs a way to stand out from these other Water-type wallbreakers.

How viable do you trainers think Kingler is? Is there anything else you think it needs in order to be a good competitive Pokémon (e.g. new moves, stats, abilities or typings)? What is its most optimal set?
