| Posted: 27 Oct 2020 03:11 PM PDT It took him hours of "telly-watching" to put together all of these activities for what is implied to be the first father-daughter bonding experience he and his daughter have had in a long time. Think of our adventure with Calyrex, solving the puzzles to find the Regis, chasing down the legendary birds all over Galar, he wanted to do all of that with his daughter. Instead, she ditched him the first chance she got, told a total stranger to take her place on these activities, and said total stranger went and had all this fun while Peony sat in the cabin (when he wasn't being mind-puppeteered by Calyrex) waiting for his daughter to come join them. Then, only once all the adventures have already been had, does she finally arrive. She shows up literally at the moment that there's now nothing left for her and her father to do. Not only did she miss out on everything, but Peony missed out on potential bonding time with his daughter and all of the activities he set up. [link] [comments] |

Emerald: "If your nose becomes itchy while you are sleeping, it's a sure sign that a Drowzee is standing above your pillow and trying to eat your dream through your nostrils." SoulSilver: "It remembers every dream it eats. It rarely eats the dreams of adults because children's are much tastier." Ultra Moon: "It puts its prey to sleep and devours their dreams. It seems that bad dreams taste sour, so Drowzee doesn't particularly like eating them." Nearly every single generation of games has Dex entries describing Drowzee and Hypno's affinity for eating dreams, but there's just one problem: DROWZEE CANNOT LEARN DREAM EATER BY LEVELING UP OR BREEDING.How is Drowzee's dream eating so ubiquitous that practically every game where it can be caught mentions the habit, when it can only learn Dream Eater by artificial means like TM or Move Tutor?! Disappointing... to say the least, from a story standpoint - I'm very excited to finally get to see Chairman Rose shine as the villain he was supposed to be. Seeing him casually talking about how people's deaths were "inevitable causalities" in his quest for infinite energy was a bit chilling. He was so, well, casual about it. Like their lives were absolutely nothing at all. Seeing him look upon his research even as Eternatus becomes disruptive and destructive is amazing. | Crown Tundra's Max Lairs actually make Dynamax fun Posted: 28 Oct 2020 05:08 AM PDT The way Max Lairs have been executed in the Crown Tundra is so rewarding. It gives you something to look forward too. It's not meaningless grinding like normal Dynamax dens, plus the concept of having lives before reaching a final boss like legendary make the process so much more exciting. Max Lairs are the true spirit of Dynamax raid dens. [link] [comments] |
