Welcome to this week's edition of Rebuild Tuesday, a weekly event we're doing along with our Discord!

This week's Pokemon is Copperajah!

#879 Copperajah (Japanese ダイオウドウ Daioudou)

Copperderm Pokémon

They came over from another region long ago and worked together with humans. Their green skin is resistant to water. These Pokémon live in herds. Their trunks have incredible grip strength, strong enough to crush giant rocks into powder.

Copperajah's Base Stats:

HP: 122
Attack: 130
Defense: 69
Sp. Attack: 80
Sp. Defense: 69
Speed: 30

Introduction:

One of the only Pokemon with a useable and unique G-Max move. Otherwise, Copperajah isn't anything special. It boasts great HP and attack, and holds a rather versatile movepool. With Dynamax banned in OU, it doesn't have to worry about not being able to hit with Heat Crash and Heavy Slam due to Dynamax shenanigans. Unfortunately, its other stats are very underwhelming, especially its speed. While its defensive stats are somewhat compensated through its large HP stat, it still has trouble against Ground and Fire types who will surely outspeed and KO it without much trouble. Copperajah is as menacing as it is fragile.

How viable do you trainers think Copperajah is? Is there anything else you think it needs in order to be a good competitive Pokemon (e.g. new moves, stats, abilities or typings)? What is its most optimal set?
