    Whether it was a popular series we wanted to see what all the fuss was about, a game given to us as a birthday/Christmas gift, or just a random RPG game we bought on a whim, we all have our own stories of how we got interested in the Pokémon franchise.

    How did you initially get into Pokémon? Was your first piece of Pokemon merchandise one of the video games, some of the TCG cards, or something else? Did you choose to check the series out because of a friend, or did it catch your attention in some other way?
