Welcome to this week's edition of Rebuild Tuesday, a ~~mostly~~ weekly event we're doing along with our Discord!

This week's Pokemon is Leavanny!

#542 Leavanny (Japanese ハハコモリ Hahakomori)

Nurturing Pokémon

Upon finding a small Pokémon, it weaves clothing for it from leaves by using the sticky silk secreted from its mouth. It keeps its eggs warm with heat from fermenting leaves. It also uses leaves to make warm wrappings for Sewaddle.

Leavanny's Base Stats:

HP: 75
Attack: 103
Defense: 80
Sp. Attack: 70
Sp. Defense: 80
Speed: 92

Introduction:

Leavanny is a smiley Pokemon and a friend Pokemon. It is also a garbage Pokemon. Garbage stats limit what could otherwise be a decent support with a unique typing. With access to Synthesis, Sticky Web, Knock Off, Heal Bell, and physical STAB moves such as Leaf Blade and X-Scissor, Leavanny can fill a decent number of roles on a team. Or could, if its BST was over 500.

Leavanny burst straight out of the gate into NU, but saw a little play in VGC11 thanks to Chlorophyll. XY and SM sealed its fate in low tier play, but it still can hold its own with a decent speed stat.

Leavanny doesn't exist in SWSH, but if it did, would probably be outclassed by many other Bug and Grass physical attackers. It could still have a niche spot as a Sticky Web user and potentially find a place on a Sun team, but faces many obstacles that prevent it from doing so, especially in the Natdex format.

How viable do you trainers think Leavanny is? Is there anything else you think it needs in order to be a good competitive Pokémon (e.g. new moves, stats, abilities or typings)? What is its most optimal set?
